Arlene Lauper, LCSW

 

Arlene Lauper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work degree, from the University of Southern California. She has had the privilege of working with individuals and families throughout Utah in different trauma informed therapeutic environments. Her experience includes working in individual and group therapy outpatient treatment services, in both private practice and non-profit environments. Moreover, she is trained in broad and specialized therapeutic approaches and has developed intervention tools and skills to address anxiety, addiction, recovery, complex trauma, divorce, intimate partner violence, parent-child reunification, community violence and domestic violence exposure therapeutic needs. She honors and welcomes individuals and families of diverse or marginalized populations. She supports and advocates for children, adults and families within, but not limited to, the LGBTQ+, BIPOC and ASD communities. She provides a warm, client-centered therapeutic approach, inviting an environment of openness and mutual trust, at the client’s pace, so that comprehensive treatment planning, growth, healing and goal achievement can take place. A proud native of Southern California, she enjoys returning home to visit much loved coastal communities throughout California, visiting family and loved ones, attending sporting events supporting her favorite Los Angeles NBA basketball and college football teams, and traveling with her spouse and children.
